Fuzztortion
NPN Fuzz-Distortion / Opamp Boost
The Fuzztortion features completely independent fuzz-distortion and clean-boost circuits within a single device. “Fuzz” is a NPN transistor-based fuzz-distortion circuit that can dial-in everything from warm low-gain grit to searing high-gain sustain. This circuit features two shelving equalizers, the “Highs” knob and the “Lows” knob. The “Highs” knob boosts the Fuzz’s treble frequencies when adjusted clockwise of the “O” position, and cuts the Fuzz’s treble frequencies when adjusted counter-clockwise of the “O” position. The “Lows” knob boosts the Fuzz’s bass frequencies when adjusted clockwise of the “O” position, and cuts the Fuzz’s treble frequencies when adjusted counter-clockwise of the “O” position. Both the “Highs” and “Lows” provide a nearly “flat” eq response when set to the center “O” position. The “Fuzz” circuit also includes a “Blend” knob that operates as a Wet/Dry control, adjusting the amount of audio signal affected by “Fuzz” circuit. “Boost” is an operational amplifier (Opamp) designed circuit that can be adjusted up to 26 decibels of clean gain. The Boost circuit is designed to offer a tonally “transparent” signal. Both circuits can be engaged together or operated independent of one another, as two separate fuzz-distortion and clean-boost effects.
All of our pedals are individually hand-built at our workshop in Kansas City.

Dual Drive
JFET Overdrive / Opamp Distortion
The Dual Drive features completely independent overdrive and distortion circuits within a single device. “Drive I” is a junction-gate field-effect (JFET) transistor-based overdrive circuit that provides lower gain with warm tube-like grit. “Drive II” is an operational amplifier (Opamp) designed distortion circuit that offers a heavy dose of saturated high gain. Both circuits are designed with nearly “flat” eq responses to offer tonally “transparent” overdrive and distortion effects. Each circuit also includes a “Blend” knob that operates as a Wet/Dry control, adjusting the amount of audio signal affected by “Drive I” and “Drive II”. Both circuits can be operated independent of one another, as two separate overdrive and distortion effects, or can be engaged together to create near fuzz tones.
